Irrigation Service Technician
- Job Description:
This person will be responsible for repairing and servicing all brands of underground sprinkler systems. GreenCare's systems are located in a 60-mile radius of Mankato on commercial, athletic, and residential properties. You will have a designated route and will also be responsible for daily production, estimating, and customer service. - Job Duties:
The following is a list of jobs this person will be responsible for:- Head replacement.
- Head adjustment.
- PVC pipe repair.
- Poly pipe repair.
- Controller programming.
- All other sprinkler system component repair and adjusting.
- Operate a cable locator.
- Operate an electrical meter.
- System inspections with suggestions for enhancement possibilities.
- Customer service.
- Daily route management.
- Equipment care and maintenance.
- Vehicle care and maintenance.
- Job Requirements:
GreenCare will provide all of the necessary training to the qualified applicant. You will be allowed a training period and will not be expected to perform all job duties from the start. The applicant must have:- Clean driving record.
- Valid drivers license with ability to obtain a Class A.
- DOT health card.
- Ability to read road maps.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- As an Irrigation Service Technician, your primary focus will be the items discussed above. You may be asked to fill in for other divisions when called upon.
- Job Description:
This person will be responsible for the proper maintenance and appearance of the commercial and residential landscapes that GreenCare maintains. - Job Duties:
The following is a list of jobs this person will be responsible for:- Sand removal.
- Landscape bed maintenance: Weeding and Roundup applications.
- Tree and shrub care: Trimming of shrubs and pruning of trees.
- Landscape restoration: Top dressing of mulch, decorative rock, tree and shrub removal and replacement.
- Landscape installation: Install landscape per design. Edging, fabric, mulch, decorative rock, trees, and shrubs.
- Turf restoration: Turf removal and preparation for new sod or seed.
- Sod and seeding: Sod or seed new construction areas.
- Sprinkler system repair and monitoring.
- Customer relations.
- Property inspections with suggestions for enhancement possibilities.
- Spring and fall aerations.
- Job Requirements:
GreenCare will provide all of the necessary training to the qualified applicant. You will be allowed a training period and will not be expected to perform all job duties from the start. Unless indicated otherwise, the applicant must have:- Class A drivers license - GreenCare will provide training if needed.
- DOT health card.
- Ability to operate skid loader.
- Ability to operate a chain saw and hedge trimmers in a safe & proper manner.
- Ability to properly trim shrubs and prune trees.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- As a Landscape Detail Technician, your primary focus will be the items discussed above. You may be asked to fill in for other divisions when called upon.
- Job Description:
This person will be responsible for installing irrigation products in residential, commercial, and athletic properties. This person will be part of a 4 to 5 person crew who work as a team to complete sprinkler system installations. - Job Duties:
The following is a list of jobs this person will be responsible for:- Head installation.
- Head adjustments.
- PVC pipe glueing and installation.
- Poly pipe clamping and installation.
- Equipment care and maintenance checks.
- Vehicle care and maintenance checks.
- Job Requirements:

- As a Sprinkler System Installer, your primary focus will be the items discussed above. You may be asked to fill in for other divisions when called upon.
- Job Description:
This person will be responsible for the proper maintenance and appearance of the commercial and residential lawns that GreenCare maintains. GreenCare will provide all of the necessary training to the qualified applicant. You will be allowed a training period and will not be expected to perform all job duties from the start. - Job Duties and Requirements:
The following is of what a Grounds Maintenance Technician will be responsible for:- Ability to work unsupervised and follow property routes.
- Ability to fill out route documentation.
- Ability to operate: lawn mowers, weed trimmers, blowers, power-brooms, and other hand held power equipment.
- Ability to properly: mow and trim lawns, de-weed landscape beds, remove sand from grass using a power-broom.
- Ability to perform tasks in a timely manner while keeping up with quality standards.
- As a Grounds Maintenance Technician, your primary focus will be the items discussed above, but not limited to those items only. You may be asked to fill in for other divisions when called upon.
- Job Description:
This person will be responsible for the proper application of lawn care products on commercial and residential properties in and around the Mankato area. You will have a designated route and will also be responsible for daily production, sales, estimating, and customer service. - Job Duties:
The following is a list of jobs this person will be responsible for:- Mixing and loading of lawn care products.
- Application of lawn care products including dry fertilizer, liquid fertilizer, and weed control.
- Lawn aerations.
- Estimating and sales.
- Customer service.
- Daily route management.
- Equipment care and maintenance.
- Vehicle care and maintenance.
- Job Requirements:
GreenCare will provide all of the necessary training to the qualified applicant. You will be allowed a training period and will not be expected to perform all job duties from the start. Unless indicated otherwise, the applicant must have:- Clean driving record.

- Commercial pesticide applicators license - GreenCare will provide training.
